Laneway Freight & Warehousing, LLC (“Laneway”, “we”) runs this website and the freight services described on it. This policy explains what we collect when you request a rate or apply to drive, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Details you send us: your name, company, email, phone number, pickup and delivery ZIP codes, freight details and any notes. Driver applicants also share their CDL experience and the role they want. The site records basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and the referring site.
How we use it
We use your details to prepare rates, book and dispatch loads, send status updates on your loads, invoice you and answer your questions. Applicant details are used only for recruiting. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Drivers and partner carriers assigned to your load see only the pickup and delivery contacts they need. Service providers for hosting, email and accounting process data on our instructions. We disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to count visits in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Shipping records are kept for seven years to meet federal recordkeeping rules. Rate requests that never become a load are deleted after 24 months. Applicant records are kept for three years.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you updates, by emailing privacy@laneway.co. We reply within 30 days.
